Vibrators are by far the most popular and most well known type of sex toys available and tend to be the first to come to mind when discussing sex toys for two reasons:

The benefit of the base unit vibrator control is that there are no cords or wires to worry about which can get in the way if you are using the vibrator with a partner. Remote control units are the most popular but due to the technology involved are considerably more expensive.
