Keep It Kinky are proud to bring you our selection of condoms. We all know that condoms are important but you should remember that all condoms weren't created equal and weather your using it for protection against STDs, pregnancy or just to spice a vibrator up you should first read this page.
Condom Materials
Latex condoms are the strongest, most reliable barrier against pregnancy and STD's, including hepatitis B and in fact, according to the Mayo Clinic, Latex condoms are the only condoms that prevent the transition of HIV.
The newer poly urethane condoms are a good alternative for people who have latex sensitivities. Lambskin condoms have pores small enough to block sperm but too large to prevent the transmission of STDs.
Condom Lubrication
Lubricated condoms have a water-based coating to ease penetration and reduce the chance of breakage. Non lubricated condoms are useful for oral sex and for people with allergies to lubricants.
Condoms lubricated with the spermicidal Nonoxynol 9 (N-9) offer more protection against prignancy, but recent studies have shown it alone to be ineffective against the prevention of HIV.
All of our condoms give protection against pregnancy and STDs.
Condom Sizes
Now is not the time to exaggerate. One size does not necessarily fit all. Most condoms generally fit men whose erect penis is average size (anywhere from 4 to 7 inces). If a condom is too tight, it's more likely to break; to loose and the condom may slip off. Read the condoms description carefully; some are labelled "snugger fit" and others "larger sized".
Novelty Condoms
Glow in the dark condoms and some other novelty condoms don't meet the British & European standards and very rarely protect against STDs. We don't stock Condoms that don't meet these standards.
Flavoured condoms are coated with sugar, corn syrup and other fructoses that can alter the PH of the vagina and cause infection. Flavoured condoms aren't recommended for intercourse but are great for oral sex.
Depending on your preference you can choose condoms with texture, ribbing and studs. These are just as effective as non - textured condoms.
Condom Storage
Condoms are easily broken and are ineffective when damaged. Condoms should be stored in a cool, dry place - not in your pocket or wallet. Exposure to sunlight, heat or humidity can break down latex, causing the condom to rupture or tear more easily.
Condom expiry dates
Pay attention to the expiry dates. Condoms lose their effectiveness with age. Generally, they're useable up to four years after the date of manufacture.
